Irish Varieties Harrison second coil issue Three line overprint
Line 1 - 15.0mm
Line 2 - 12.5mm
Line 3 - 6.0mm
This issue is distinguished from the Thom fourth issue by the slightly rounded base to the "1" in 1922, the round (rather than oval) top loop to the "9" of "1922", and the second "e" of "eireann" which appears to be raised slightly.
The Long "1" variety is on all the values of this issue. It is found in position 5 and 11 of horizontal rolls (strips of 12 pasted together) and in position 5 and 10 of vertical rolls (strips of 10 pasted together). Some rolls are known without the variety.
