Annual shows have been held for the past 15 years. The theme of last year's show was "Steamboat Mail".

This year's theme is "Saluting Aviation". A special cachet for the show is illustrated below. The series of Classic American Aircraft will frank a series of covers. These may be purchased at the show individually or in groups. They will be cancelled with a special show cancel

The NovaPex 1998 show will be held March 7 & 8, 1998 at the Senior Citizen's Hall on 2290 Benton Drive, Redding, California. 1100 pages will be exhibited in our new 16 page frames, and a US postal station provides full services during the hours of the show. 15 dealers from around the state and Oregon participate in the bourse. Door prizes, courtesy of the dealers, are given out every hour and free packets of stamps are donated by club members to youthful visitors. Exhibits are judged by an APS accredited judge and two Northern California Council judges.

Three of the club members are school teachers and the club is actively promoting youth participation. Refreshments at the show are provided by a group of Aviation Explorers who also assist in setting up and taking down the exhibit frames. Donations for our youth groups would be welcome.

Let us know of your activities in the world of philately. We would welcome any comments or suggestions for the betterment of our hobby. We will attempt to answer any questions you may have regarding "the hobby of presidents and kings".
