We've added stuff, but we're still under
construction . . .
Mark Oliver - lead guitar, vocals
Mark's Oliver has been rockin' Northern California for a long time. Comrad Mark plays through a Red Bear Russian amplifier that sounds VERY much like a huge Marshall stack. Only the brave will sit front row during a Big Dogs concert. Mark has been known to blow hairpieces right off front row patron's heads! And when he breaks into AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long," everyone holdds on to their beer mugs!
Mike Jorde - bass guitar, vocals
When not performing medical wonders, Dr. Mike Jorde plays a Kramer bass guitar like there's no tomorrow. His vocal style is very Santa Monica-ish, if you catch my drift . . . catch a show and you'll catch my drift. Mike continues to hold up the bottom end of the Big Dogs contributing what dignity the band continues to hold on to.
Mike Tidwell - lead guitar, keyboard, vocals
Originally from Texas, Mike learned his southern rock and roll licks in the late 70's from bands like ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd. While others jumped and yelled at these concerts, Mike would sit calmly, binoculars in hand, and mentally jot down guitar licks. He still plays the original Gibson L-6 he purchase way back in 1975. If that guitar could talk . . .well, we're talkin' hard time here!
Ted Carrasco - Drums, vocals
Percussius Maximus. That's what the Romans would have named Ted. The guy's a maniac when you set him in front of a set of drums! The youngest "Dog," Ted currently attends Chico State as a music major and when he's not chasin' girls, provides the solid, ever-present rhythm for Big Dogs! His drum solos are nothing short of miraculous. If you've never seen one of his solos, you're missing a treat. Let's put it this way, girls start throwin' room keys, underwear . . .you get the picture.
