Statement of Purpose: Shasta Treatment Center is a non-profit corporation serving Northern California with the following services: 1. Low-cost counselling for juvenile sex offenders, their parents, victims, and victims of families. 2. Low-cost counselling for victims of molestation and other sexual offenses. This includes child victims molested recently and adult victims that were molested as children. It also includes families of victims. 3. It will provide training for probation officers, law enforcement officers, C.P.S. workers, therapists and others involveed in the community based management of sexual offenders.

Our Goal: 1. To break the cycle of sexual abuse - Thereby reducing the occurence of multiple-generation incest and reducing the problem of sexual offending in Northern California. 2. To address the problem of sexual offending when juveniles offend rather than waiting for them to be convicted as adults. 3. To prevent aditional victims of sexual abuse and to help existing vitims to heal. 4. To provide training for professionals in assisting in these goals.
