Configuring Microsoft Internet Mail 
 

Step 1: Getting Started Open Internet Mail by going to the Start menu, then Programs, then choose Internet Mail from the list. Once Internet Mail is open, go to the Mail pull-down menu, as shown below, then choose Options.

 

Step 2: Server configuration Now that we have the Options open, select Server from the tabs at the top. In the Name: area, put in your real name (i.e. John Doe). In the Organization: area, put in your buinesses name, if any (i.e. John Doe's Wax Museum). In the Email Address: area, put in your email address (i.e. johnd@awwwsome.com).
For the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) and the Incoming Mail (POP3), type in sal.awwwsome.com
In the POP3 Account area, put in your login (i.e. johnd). And, for the Password area, put in your password for your login.

Now that we have that done, please click on the Advanced Settings button, and move on to Step 3. 

 

Step 3: Advanced Settings The only thing we need to change here is the section towards the bottom called Reply To:. Change this section to your email address (i.e. johnd@awwwsome.com). 

After this, click on OK. Then click on the Connection tab and move onto the final step. 

 

Step 4: Final stage If you are using a modem to dial into AWWWsome Net Services, your screen should match the on the right. If it doesn't, change the settings to match it. 

If you are connecting to AWWWsome Net Services through a LAN, check the I use a LAN connection button.
